True Green Smoothie
Serves 2
1 cup spinach, fresh or frozen
1 small apple, stem removed
1 banana
½ avocado, pitted and peeled
1-1/2 cups
cashew, almond
or other milk
1 teaspoon spirulina powder (optional)
1 scoop plant-based vanilla protein powder (optional)
2 tablespoons
raw honey
(optional, but makes kids like it more!)
Blend the banana, apple, spinach, avocado, milk, protein powder, and honey, if using, in a high speed blender until smooth.
