Brandied Sweet Potatoes A quick sweet potato recipe for Thanksgiving Day that will leave an unforgettable taste you will crave again and again.
2 pounds sweet potatoes 2 tablespoons coconut oil 2 tablespoons organic ghee or butter 1/4 cup raw coconut sugar 1/4 cup brandy Sea salt, to taste Dash Cardamom
Peel potatoes. Cut in half lengthwise and then into spears. Steam potatoes until soft but still able to stay together when piercing with a fork of knife. Do not let them get mushy. Melt coconut oil and butter in a nonstick stir-fry pan. Add the sugar, brandy and salt to the pan. When mixture is hot, add the steamed potatoes. Stir gently to coat. Cook for a few minutes. Sift with cardamom. Serve warm or hot.
